There is nothing like the look in kids’ eyes when meeting their favorite Disney characters. Yesterday spending a day with 3 5-year-old girls giddy to chat with princesses, dance with Mickey and Minnie and gaze in a magical daze at the parade leaves us in amazement and awe ourselves of an innocence we need to dig down and rediscover in ourselves. What a beautiful day in so many more ways than we could count on. 💓
How we see ourselves depends on where we are looking, and that only matters so much, it’s far more than skin-deep - “Could we change our attitude, we should not only see life differently, but life itself would come to be different. Life would undergo a change of appearance because we ourselves had undergone a change of attitude.” K. Mansfield
#waybackwednesday to 2 years ago. Our first Christmas together. Today we found a 2016 Christmas ornament frame that we never filled that sparked a search of photos from December 2016. Thank goodness for digital photos!!!! Loved the trip down memory lane! ❤️ 🎄
This is us! Our little blended family of love. The holidays not only remind us of togetherness, but if the careful balancing of happy, what truly matters, and love. December is looking packed full of fun, joy, travel and...balance! We are beginning to not only plan those exciting go go gothings, but downtime and exercise to be sure we stay sane 😜 we hope you do the same!!
We love Thanksgiving and we love traditions so - here’s to our first of many family Thanksgiving morning runs! A great part of this tradition means we can do it anywhere (today we are in Chicago) and it’s healthy! When you think of traditions that you’d like to start, continue, honor or create, think of those that are fun, do not create stress or pressure to fulfill and include everyone (waking, cheering, making fun outfits could go along with ours next time!) Happiest Thanksgiving to you and yours! 🦃🍁❤️
Opinions! Everyone has them and when it comes to the two of you, yours are the ONLY opinions that matter.
